On Monday, February 24, 2025, a DiReSoM workshop will be held at the University of Ferrara, titled “Religious Factor, Emergency Rules and Sustainable Development”. The conference is part of the PRIN project “Religion and Emergency Rules”, of which the DiReSoM coordinator Prof. Pierluigi Consorti is the PI.

DiReSoM’s 2025 begins with the conference of the PRIN Religion and Emergency Rules, whose PI is its coordinator Prof. Pierluigi Consorti and which sees many DiReSoM members involved. The conference “Religions and rules of emergency.” will take place on January 10 at the University of Pisa.

A conference dedicated to the “Religion and Emergency Rules” research project will be held at the University of Genoa on November 21st. The project is led by DiReSoM coordinator Professor Pierluigi Consorti. Many DiReSoM Association members, as part of the PRIN research groups, will take part in the conference.
DiReSoM will hold a panel at the 7th ICLARS Conference at the University of Notre Dame (USA), on religious rules and emergency in a European and global perspective.
The panel is part of the activities of the PRIN project “Religion and Emergency Rules”, coordinated by Prof. Pierluigi Consorti, Full Professor of Law and Religion at the University of Pisa.
DiReSoM is glad to announce, as part of the PRIN “Religion and Emergency Rules”, which involves the collaboration of research units between the universities of Pisa, Messina, Genoa and Ferrara, an important international conference regarding the impact of emergency rules, with specific regard to the religious minorities. This event will be held on 24 and 25 July at the Department of Law of the University of Messina.
We are pleased to announce that the DiReSoM research group is formally established as an Association. DiReSoM will continue to promote, carry out and coordinate research activities and dissemination of scientific results on law and religion and intercultural law.
DiReSoM Research Grooup is sponsor of the 6th ICLARS Conference.
Its panels will be held on September 19 (“Nuove prospettive sul diritto di libertà di coscienza e sulla dignità delle disobbedienze”) and on September 21 (“Religione e ibridazione culturale: opportunità o sconfitta?”).
